Because these pieces were never sold in mainline global Burberry boutiques, they quickly became legendary "it-bags" for international tourists and collectors traveling to Japan.
In 2015, the licensing agreement officially ended and Burberry took direct control of its brand in Japan. Sanyo Shokai ceased all production of Burberry Blue Label forever. Finding one today in good condition is incredibly difficult, making this a true collector's item.
